Hotpoint WMA64 how to get into diagnostic programme

Got a Hotpoint WMA64 (ultima 1400) left by a customer outside my premises with a note on it overnight in the wet, not spinning it says. Turned upside down 😆 , checked motor, brushes OK. Cleaned armature, no visible damage to loom. Any ideas, pump runs but no motor action at all.

What i would like is details of how to get this machine into diagnostic mode so i can access fault history etc..

Thanks Jim, i run the diagnostics programme on this & low & behold it worked in the test programme & in every programme used after, did this just need reprogrammed to go again? I hate it when i don’t know whats caused the problem! Oh just another thing this machine is the variant with the module & power board all in one.

Looking at Partfinder I cannot see a model of WMA64 with combined control/power module, are you certain. ❓

All cabling from motor went direct to power board, i think, i used the wiring diagram you sent me to try & trace wires, it showed motor loom to chopper board, then from chopper board to power board. On this machine there is only one board (that i can find) located piggy-backed behind facia panel. Also there are more connections on board than on diagram so i presumed its a combined board.

Wiring is different but test procedure seems to have worked.?

There is no Chopper board on these, only on 1600 spin models, what you have is the Control module & Power module.
