Hotpoint WMA66 Door light flashing
Changed door lock, tested loom from door lock to PCB, had PCB off to look for burn marks etc still will not lock.
Also the child lock light is showing in the display and I cannot get rid of it.
Would I be right in that it is the PCB?

Cancel child lock by holding the child lock button in for five seconds.
Have you tried it with the door lock hanging outside the machine and operating it manually?
The spring in the door handle is a common failure point.

Tried cancelling child lock by holding the child lock button in for more than 5 sec
Also had door lock out to change it so tried it before I put it back. Did know about spring that is why I tried door lock out of machine.

😥 Hmm, not sounding good, never had this type of failure on an Ultima PCB, very common on basic WMA’s though.
