ParticipantMachine runs OK until the end, then after final spin and before the door interlock disengages, it starts to “pulse” the water valves. 😕
Anyone got a clue whats going on before I order a new PCB?May 5, 2010 at 6:26 pm #319490johnnyj

Odd indeed. Have had one which pulsed water valve during spin and it was down to low brushes on the Bosch type motor (thanks to P45’s advice). You’ll need the dual tag type brushes I expect. So I’m with adv on this.

Might be worth trying a doorlock first, nothing to lose really.
This was a common fault caused by Vestel door locks a while back and its basically the same part.

Well I have to give Johnnyj first prize, twas the door lock 😕
Opened it up and the plastic around the heat pellet had carbonised, obviously causing spurious shorting, thanks all :tup:May 6, 2010 at 9:20 pm #319498leavemetogetonwithit
