ParticipantHi
I have a fill issue with the above machine, I have checked and established the following. There is water present at pressure
Checked both solenoids and resistance is c3510 ohms
When machine should fill it applies approx 12vAC to the plugs on the solenoidsI dont know if the applied voltage is correct? should it be 230v, if so where shall i look next, im suspecting an expensive control module?
I am a trained NICEIC electrician
Thanks MarkAugust 17, 2015 at 6:48 am #429614mdsparky

Just as an addition to the above, the machine seems to work ok apart from not filling correctly ie the door locks and it pumps out and the drum motor runs.
My wife did say the machine was doing some strange things a couple of weeks ago and that she had to turn it off and back on a couple of timesAugust 17, 2015 at 7:57 am #429615iadom

Unfortunately I don’t have any technical info for this recent model, however the fill valves do require mains voltage to operate.
Are you seeing any error codes, any lights flashing or on steady? you may need to leave it a few minutes for certain error codes to show.

Thanks for the reply
Although it has no error codes showing (it has no screen) my wife said that all the leds were flashing rapidly when she hard reset it.
Now you have confirmed the solenoids need 230v I definately suspect the Control unit, maybe a relay problem on the board?
I managed to find a second hand control unit for this model on ebay, from a bearing problem washer, for £20 so i thought i would give it a go for that price.
I’ll post when I see what happensAugust 17, 2015 at 6:31 pm #429617Martin

This is going to end up badly I fear, especially when eBay secondhand spares are involved.
Do let us know the result all the same

What you should have done is switched the machine back on and made a proper note of which of the right hand vertical lights are on steady when the others are flashing, that is the error code.
