Hotpoint WMF 940 fault !

Hi, Can anybody help here please ? I have a hotpoint WMF 940 it completes the cycle on every wash, but at the end if you leave it for 3-4 mins the pump starts and lights flash and f-06 comes up , I’ve looked through Error codes but cant find it on there ? any clues anyone ?

can not access the servicenet site at the moment, but im sure thats the door lock not deactivatig on time.

Hmm, the manual lists F06 as N/A or not used. 😕

Could be a corrupted eeprom I suppose although as Bob says, F06 on earlier models is a door lock area fault :con:

Thanks people and to Iadom , I had my suspicions to door lock but wasnt sure , its either that or board , just goes to show this site is invaluable ! I have to do job today so I will reply and say what it was ! but thanks anyway !

Just a note to update ! Board problem ! tried door lock to no avail , so Board went to Tony at EMW , but they need facia panel as to new for them , but we learn !
