    The programmer knob no longer clicks round. Its spins smoothly but does not alter the programme. I assume that the knob is broken and no longer turns the programmer spindle? I can obtain a new knob but as it is buried in the front panel this has to come off to change it. Is this easy to access for removal?

    sure enough the knob will be broken, the D shaped hole where the shaft fits will be split, quite easy to fix with a cable tie, plug out if you have a go yourself..
