ParticipantAfter washing cycle, door lock clicks 4 or 5 times. Door will not open. About a minute later, door clicks 4/5 times & pump starts up – all lights flash & error code F-06. Door will still not open.
After leaving unplugged for 30 mins, door will still not open, even if left unplugged. Will however release with the overide tab.
Can restart any washing cycle after leaving unplugged, only to return to previous at the end.Filter is clear, have also tried activating the pressure switch by blowing/sucking through the hose. Hose to the drum also clear from switch end.
Anyone have any diagnosis ideas. Idon’t want to buy a door interlock for nothing.
Thanks in advance.August 27, 2012 at 12:59 pm #380209iadom

F06 is a door lock related fault most of the time, can also be bad connections between doorlock and main pcb or even a fault on the pcb itself.

THanks for the quick reply iadom. Connections seem ok.
Is there any way to determin if the switch is at fault?August 27, 2012 at 2:16 pm #380211iadom

Not without breaking it part. Trying a new door lock is the cheapest option if you have eliminated bad connections etc.

Fixed it, for now anyway. It could well be the door interlock.
I tried to start a cycle with the door open several times. The expected door open alarms triggered with several attempts at locking the latch. Half a dozen lock attempts might have freed something up inside it.Thanks for your help. If it goes again, then I’ll just have to bite the bullet.

Worn motor carbon brushes or bad motor connections ( the motor plug pins are very flimsy ) can also give this fault but don’t normally show F06.
