I have only had 2 of these and both had the same fault.
The cold fill valve is the same as the previous models but with an extra piece on the end to give it extra length.It is this extra piece of plastic that leaks.It looks like its just glued into the valve.The water then leaks inside the machine .Has anyone replaced these.

I think hotpoint do a kit now for these which does away with the need for the extension bit on the end of the valve, sorry don’t know pt number.

original spec was all in one dispenser and sols + ext for the 7kg machines.
for about £35 trade then hp replaced that part with an extended dispenser and no ext, specifically for 7kg machines at about £50 net.

however this part seems to now be obsolete again as i just ordered one for a 740 which was cheaper and came with the add-on ext piece. for £22 net…

not sure even merloni know what theyre up to tbh!
