Hotpoint WMF760 Error Codes F01 and H20

Hi. My washing machine is not working. the error codes are changing between F01 and H20
I can choose a programme, the door locks, the timer will start to countdown and nothing happens. Sometimes after 5 mins it will start to take it water and then stop. Sometimes it will pump out after 5 mins. It is 4 1/2 years old.

Same problem here and about same age machine.

Had H20 error, checked water supply, checked pressure hose for blockages, left unplugged for a couple of hours and then put on spin cycle. Spin cycle locks door and counts down but nothing for a few minutes then sounds like draining but F-01 error comes up.

Anyone have any further advice or is it time to buy a new one?

F-01 is a motor triac failure ( i.e. A fault in the motor has blown the switching triac on the circuit board)

Ouch, sounds expensive!

Hotpoint (Indesit) wanted £115 to send engineer with no guarantee of a fix… are they serious??

Time to pick up a new one in the sales 🙂
