Anyone else come across a Hotpoint WMFU1063PUK with displayed programmes not corresponding to the numbers on the knob?

I have checked the selector switch which looked fine
Problem started about 3 weeks ago. It’s only 2.5 years old. It’s kept in a damp cellar though.
So suspecting a board fault. Or is it in some kind of weird mode?
It’s one of those Whirlpool made Hotpoints with a WINDY board. They are an absolute pain to remove, so I didn’t bother.

It runs the programs ok according to the customer. They’re just in the correct order!

my guess would be dampness in the control knob on the front display board

hoover auto used to do the same thing when the selector sw failed

if so it may be possible to clean it

    Done that, no change.

You can’t change just the selector switch and at over £100 for a display board, I’m not sure it’s worth it.

the one i looked up seems like the board is obsolete

unless QER can repair or test it
