we have a hotpoint WMFUG842G UK it wont fill up with water on any program setting, I thought that it may have been the solenoids on the fill inlet as the water is in the pipe going to the machine and the pressure is good not slow I also took out the filter but that was free of dirt. I bought new inlet valve genuine replacement part and this has done the same thing no water gets inside the machine. I checked the pressure switch removed the pipe and blew down the tube u can hear the air coming out of the chamber at the bottom so thats clear and ok. I checked the soap tray altho its not generally used. I also checked the impellor at the base of the machine no blockages. What else can i check pleas e help

well i would check the wiring to the valves for signs of damage
and the cable plug where it connects to the board

today i replaced the pressure switch after having talked to a repair man – – He said to check and replace the pressure switch as that sends a signal to the inlet sensor to open or close the water when drums full. That has done nothing nore has the new inlet solenoid block. I dont know what else to check please please help.

did not think it was pressure switch as you were getting no error codes to suggest this. Also if the machine had a pressure sw problem it would have had problems spinning

this is fast heading towards a board problem and that means normally its a hotpoint only fit as it needs to be programmed. I cant think of any fault that can cause this now you have changed the obvoius apart from the main board.

with the booklet for the machine it says the parts are guaranteed for 10 years wonder if that would cover the main board.

yes probably, but the rule is you have to pay Hotpoint to fit it to get the free part

Have removed the module ARC2.3PH STRI P P50+EVC+ED5 Part number:J00278851 no obvious signs of damage everything looks as it should do.
    Theres a code :215012744000 and fw1:11.01.13, fw2;1.8.10, fw3:08.01.02.
I have found the exact match for this on hotpoint web site and on ebay but the ebay 1 says its for a WMXTF942PUKR. the one on hotpoint says module only but needs programming.
question is can i safely put the ebay one in the wrong machine most of the programs the same with a few exceptions. Or can i send the module away to be programmed for our machine. either way i dont want to spend 85 quid for a new part unless 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} nothing else will work

probably better to send your module to be checked / repaired

    https://www.emwelec.co.uk/

you would have to ask if they have a full function test for your unit

Thank you for that info they repair only on my module so now its a question of sending off with fault code ( not sure what that was)

i think all you need to tell them is it wont fill

also send the service numbers off the label inside the door in case they need it
