Can anyone give me a pointer on a recall I am going to tomorrow please.
Hotpoint WMG823 with an F05 fault
I cleared the sump and filter last week and tested fully for pump and spin and was perfect
No overfilling etc all seemed uncomplicated as foreign objects found in pump/sump
When she called me tonight I was a bit mystified so checked fault codes and discovered that signifies pressure switch jammed on trip
I do not understand that jargon ‘trip’ does it mean pressure switch faulty??Or can I ‘unjam’
I also saw another fault code describing a pressure switch reset? Can anyone shed any light because I have never even heard of that nor seen one
Would appreciate it as long distance involved ( as with all recalls :rolls: )

Sounds like the module still thinks there is water in the pressure chamber, sometimes they need to be reprogrammed to reset this
