hotpoint wml 730

hi, right side of machine there are 6 led.machine works for about 20min then starts to pump out and top led starts to flash 😕 i was thinking this might be f08 fault ❓ but cant get it confirmed in fault guide, any ideas please.

Error codes for this are HERE

Top light is not used for error codes, I think that one flashes for a no fill fault so inlet valve would be first thing to check.

Hi jim, def prewash light that flashes,machine is actually filling when light starts to flash,that’s why I thought f08 pressure switch you maybe right, valve not closing at appropriate time and tripping overfill? ( thanks for light reading)

Look out for hose to pressure switch chafing on the inside of the cabinet, seen a couple with this.
F 08 faults are always the old dreaded 8 flash fault, heater relay stuck, allegedly . :rolls:
