thats funny just come back from sililar machine with same prob
removed pcb cleaned all terms and connectors
machine started changed programmes no probs
put it all back together and ran a rinse
stopped machine half way through and went back to same problemnext action would be to send boards to emw but i suggested that as hotpoint made this rubbish maybe they should bear some of the cost and claim on the free parts warrenty. so thats what she is looking into. if i send boards to emw and they work on the day then we will never find problem and after that hotpoint wont touch it

I have exactly the same fault. Checked the motor, all paths through ok and meggers fine. Checked the wiring from the module to motor and checked plugs (what cr*p connections in the plugs). Swapped the hinterlock still clicking like a oap’s top set (no offence Martin 😉 ).
Sent the board over to EMW and hope that’s the culprit, otherwise I’m stumped on this.Tony

None taken Tony. 😀
Besides I don’t get that problem now since someone put me on to Gripfill. 😛

i have seen this many times and it always seems to be the motor block wiring

Go the board back from EMW. Machine now works but not sure if its doing what it should. The clicking has gone but I was under the impression that when the pause is pressed, the programme stops and the door can be opened. You can change the programme but the original programme will not stop until you do so 😕
Also once the end light shows should the door remain locked. I’ve been powering it down, wait a few seconds, power back up press the start and …..the door unlocks.Plus…..PLUSSSSSS….i’ve never had to take the front panel off to swap an interlock before. I’m really beginning to dislike Indesit….no honestly 😉
