ParticipantOn switching on the machine the door will lock with the red door indicator light on.
However, no water is pumped into the machine. The indicator light for water being pumped into the drum flashes but not water is pumped into the machine.
After a few minutes all of the indicator lights start flashing.
I have checked the water supply and that is ok.
I also checked to see if the flashing indicator lights flashed a set number of times to indicate a fault code. However, the lights just keep rapidly flashing with no pause.
I have switche the powere off and waited and few minutes and then tried again but with no success.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

When you say ‘all’ do you mean ALL of the lights or just some of the vertical left hand lights.
If all of the lights are flashing rapidly rather than blinking slowly then you have a known fault on the main PCB.June 4, 2012 at 10:42 am #375950sjsmi1

Sorry, I mean the start / pause indicator plus the function indicators – reduced crease, mini load extra rinse and super wash. They all flash orange. There is not a pause in nthe flashing frequency – they just constantly flash.

Those lights are not used for any error codes, the Indesit electronics in these machines are sadly some of the most unreliable on the market so anything is possible from poor wiring connections to failed circuit boards.
As it is not an error code it is difficult to advise you further. 😥
A visual and electrical test of all wiring and components with a suitable megger or multimeter is the next logical step.
Be sure to remove the mains plug and leave it for at least 15 minutes before removing any panels, it has a 3 phase motor and the PCB stores a hefty charge. :eeek:
