Hotpoint WMM75 Poor wash

Just been to look at this Hotpoint WMM75 which customer says isn’t washing very well and tangling clothes. On watching it for a few minutes I noticed that the wash action was 15sec. c/w. 5sec. pause 5sec. anti c/w. This would explain tangling, and I’m sure affect wash performance. Could someone confirm that this is a fault. I assume the remedy would be a new board?

Its based on an Ultima WMA machine, genrally very reliable electronically and not a fault I have ever come across.

What is the wash action/rotation like on the rinse cycles?

There is a short test routine, PM me an e-mail address and I will send you details.
