Hotpoint WMS38

    machine takes in water runs on cycle for about 30 to 40min. Then prewash light starts to flash…any ideas welcome.

    just guessing? no cold water supply, no water temperature increase, can’t pump out wash water?

    have checked heater / pressure chamber / ok. Thermister reading 12.5k is this correct ??? feel this may be a timer fault !!!!

    Rocker, I will send you the config and fault test info. It is for a WMA44 but it has the same 1604321 control module.

    Sounds awfully like the rinse valve is opencirciut , these machines prefill via cold valve then sw to to hot valve then back and forth to make sure not over wash temp, during rinse they use the the other solenoid on the cold valve then for fab cond dispensing both the cold solenoids are energised, the pre wash light flashing is a fill problem.

    update on this machine..recalled last night done diagnostic test no fault
    found..changed cold inlet valves ( possible suggested fault) no joy
    fill it must be pcb faulty. customer is buying new machine!!
