Hotpoint WMT03

Hi guys, My 3 year old Hotpoint WMT03 has suddenly decided to pump the water out as quick s it is filled, plus it just sloshes about without getting on with the job, then it just refuses to spin on any cycle. HELP the kids are fed up with their dirty clothes.

is it pumping, or syphoning?

got any flashing lights?

could be anything, some more info would be helpful?

It is pumping all the time, and at every pump (ie every 2 seconds) the reset button flashes. It is the same on every programme, plus it does not do a spin, only sloshes about 🙁

Try draining off the water into a bowl.

Select spin.

Does it now spin??? (it does take a while to get into the full spin cycle)

If it is pumping all the time, either the flood protection level on the pressure switch is jammed on, or you have a failure on the computer board.

could be a pressure hose/sump blokage causing just a small amount of water to operate the overfill level?
