No fill on this machine- after customer found colour catcher in filter , machine will now not fill at all on any prog
Tried pressure switch reset procedure- still no fill
Only time it filled was during a rinse (empty) i opened door & poured about 2 litres into drum , shut door and restarted, after a minute machine filled to half way up glass and carried on rinsing cycle, then pumped out to end , Tried wash cycle again, still no fill 😥
just pumps for about 3 mins.Any ideas, machine 2 years old.

Have you tested the fill valves, there was a punter on here two days ago with a valve alledgedly burnt out on a WMUD machine.

I got it to fill during rinse cycle, after first manually filling thro drum with couple litres of water, seem to work.
I didnt check valves otherwise, as they appeared to work!
Maybe go back & couple up a valve and see what happens
Thanks.January 20, 2014 at 5:19 pm #407915iadom

Initial fill through one valve to lift the eco ball, if you fill it past the lowest level it will then fill through the other valve.

OK, I’ll pop back & plug a new valve in an see if it works, if the punter lets me- she’s a regular so should be alright.
Worth a shot , if no good , I’ll send her back to hotpoint – Shame. Hotpoint really make life difficult for us independents these days( I guess thats the point ) – bring back the WM range or earlier.January 20, 2014 at 7:24 pm #407917roy1

Had the same fault ,no fill after a blocked pump,it was a main board fault.

its not a main board fault, however fitting a new board will cure it 🙂
the machine thinks its full so wont bring on valve, you need to either trick it into recognising water again like iandom details in his guide.
otherwise you need to reprogram the board which obviously without an emit it pretty difficult 🙁

Hi
I had one that I could not get to reset and spoke to Hotpoint.
was told to start program and leave it for up to 1hr. during this time it would start to fill.
HMM
Tried it but could not stay so returned later just in time to see the water level approaching the soap draw. Was not away for the full timeStopped it and emptied drum.
It was OK from there on.

Replaced valve, still no fill, reset p.switch again just in case, no fill!! 👿
Told to try Hotpoint ( 5 yr ) – needless to say shes never buying a Hotpoint again. Who can blame her.
