Hotpoint WMUD843 Ultima Error F11

Hi All

I am new to this forum and wanted some help in regards to error f11.
Since past few days the clothes specially fleece clothes were smelling very bad so i decided to clean the machine. I got a cleaner for machine and followed the instructions.
I cleaned the filter below, the soap dispenser and ran the machine at 60 degrees.
All went well so i decided to put some clothes to test but got an f11 error code.
Restarted the machine and this time I got error no water check supply
opened the filter cleaned it again and no luck still.
Looked at some videos went back home turned the machine slightly and the pipe that connects drum to pump looks ok no debris.
opened the pipe and cleaned it put it back and still same error.
I did pump out twice or thice and it finished the cycle everytime. it was anyways 2 minutes.
Put clothes in again and started it, what I realised is earlier I used to have a continous flow of water for like 2 minutes and to fill the drum which is now going at 2 seconds bursts, anyways the drum filled up with water and it started but in about 5 minutes it stopped and again gave the same error f11
Any pointers as to what I can do please.

One more thing, last night the drum was full of water so i did a pump out and all the water had gone so it might not be a pump fault after all.

F11 is ‘supposed’ to be a pump related fault.
Could be wiring connection faults between pump and module, faulty pump, pressure switch, faulty module etc. As you have had a cleaner through it you could have dislodged some internal gunge that may be blocking the pressure (water) level switch chamber. As this machine has the dreaded sealed drum then clearing such a blockage is not easy.

One off repair will cost about 140 pounds or for 24 pounds a month they can insure it and i can add 3 appliances. Is this a good price for insurance?

The decision is yours alone, I have never, ever paid for insurance or warranty on any appliance that costs under £350/£400 .

I did some troubleshooting on the machine again and started the cycle and it started but I think its not able to pump the water when it wants to. so 20 minutes into the cycle of 35 minutes it starts looking for pump to pump out water but it does not. Then i do a pump out on the spin and it pumps out all the water. So problem does not look like its on the pump itself. Any pointers from here. Is it the board then coz i know i cant do the board replacement its too expensive to do it from anyone else except hotpoint themselves.

Difficult to be certain, pumps can fail intermittently but it could well be a faulty pcb. 🙁
