hotpoint wmud962 puk bearings

OK, I should have known better, but was swayed by the 9kg capacity and the 1600 spin. But it seems those 2 factors have been the undoing of this machine. The bearings are finished. Is it true it is a sealed drum?
I really like the machine/performance/features – and a Which? best buy…
So get your guffaws out of the way 😆 and break it to me gently. Rich

Does it have a pump filter behind the kickstrip, bottom right. If it does have a filter then it has a sealed drum. :rolls:

Yes thank you @iadom . It did have the sealed drum like you said. In the end I had Hotpoint out to change the drum, cheaper to pay them that it was to buy the drum and fit myself.

and this week they are coming to change it again. the only thing I’ve ever paid extended warranty on and so glad I did.
