Hoping someone can help. Midway through a wash my machine started to make funny noises. My husband stopped the machine and we found bits of stick in there. I have 3 boys and forgot to check pockets…so my husband pulled the washing out and manually emptied the machine with a jug and the rest through the filter. He located a piece of stick which appeared to have been jamming the motor and removed it, cleaning the filter. We tested a spin and put the clothes back in for a rinse and spin, which we thought was successful. However we noticed a noise on the next cycle and upon checking the washing was bone dry with only 7 minutes left. My husband checked all connections and pipes to ensure there were no kinks or blockages etc. He also checked the pressure switch and pipe and could hear an audible click. There are only 4 wires so presume one click is sufficient. The only possible problem we could see was a black mark on one of the electrical points of the water inlet valve. We have ordered a new one of these and a new pressure switch. The machine does everything it should bar filling with water and it won’t run on a 1600 cycle but will on the 1400. Any other suggestions as to what the problem may be?

Are you sure the filter and pump housing are clear of debris? Try running machine on pump out eith the filter removed, and check the pump impellor is rotating..
