Hotpoint WP860 Not Spinning

Have had the above for 4 years, washes clothes fine, but pauses on the spin with 1 min to go. Have to then turn the machine off, and power off, power on. Thought it was out of balance, have run on empty and still no spin. There are no error codes on the LCD, anyone have any ideas, as the machine is 4yrs old, I know I can get a fixed repair for £90 but it will only be guaranteed for 3 months, really don’t want to bin it yet. But if I do what do people think of this ZWF16581, will also consider the ISE 2 as well.

is it a wf860 or a wd860

if its stuck on a minute, theres something it hasnt done

worth checking the heater , thats the usual suspect if im honest

plug out if checking!

It is a WF, and I am tempted to bin it, as Hotpoint want £100 for a repair with a 3 month warranty or £160 for a repair with 12 months warranty. It has never been a great machine (on our 3rd one in 5 years), just trying to avoid some financial pain as the dishwasher went last month. Has anyone any experience of the Zanussi jet streams as described above?
