hotpoint wt400

    Hi, i have a hotpoint wt400 toploader which has stopped working after tripping curcuit breaker. now it fills, and then flashes door locked led quickly and another led. any clues?

    No – fault codes on this appliance are indicated by the power lamp flashing in a pattern; ie 1-2-3-4-pause-repeat. The selector will also be clunking round.

    In this instance, I would suspect that the pcb is damaged, due to whatever component short circuited – the OP will have to identify that component first. Lid lock, motor and heater are primary suspects.
