If there is a coin in the drum then you will be unlikely to be able to remove it by removing one of the drum lifters, it may well have dropped into the sump hose. you could remove a lifter to look but from experience you will rarely get a coin out from there. Also depending on the age of your machine you may have the dreaded sealed drum. If you can give us the full model number and serial number from the label inside the door we could tell you.
Is it a WT504P, a WT540/1P, or a WT540/1G ?
Access to the sump hose is from the back, at the bottom. please be sure to remove the mains plug if you intend to have a look inside.
BTW. Coins etc don’t ‘somehow’ get into the machine, they get in because someone has not taken note of the user instructions and heeded the warning to CHECK ALL POCKETS. 😉 Often a very expensive mistake on these ‘sealed drum’ machines.

Sadly I have to report that you have a machine with a completely sealed plastic outer drum. Unless someone can fish out the coin from the heater aperture or it passes through into the black rubber sump hose under the drum at the back you are in trouble. It is very common for coins to punch holes right through the plastic/nylon outer drum.
If you cannot find it in the sump but can still hear it rattling around then I would advise you not to use the machine until someone has had a look at it. The cost of a complete drum is almost £140.00 before vat and in this instance would be unlikely to be covered by guarantee, it would be classed as misuse.
To remove one of the blue drum lifters you need to push a thin ‘terminal’ screwdriver down the third hole from the front, this will then allow you to pull the lifter forward and remove it to look into the outer drum. you may get lucky and be able to see and remove the coin from there but I would be very suprised if you did. When refitting the lifter be sure to raise the small tab that locks the lifter in place at the front of the drum.
