    Does anyone know if the star bolt holding the belt wheel onto the back of the drum is a left or right hand thread please.
    Also, has anyone cross referenced the bearings with an S.K.F. bearing ?

    Hotpoint WT540 bearings

    Normal (anticlockwise to undo) thread.

    All bearings of all makes adopt the same reference number as far as size goes. SKF are no different. The number is stamped on the outer thrust ring edge.

    Have you determined if your machine has a sealed or screwed drum?
