hotpoint wt540 door not locking?

my washing machine stopped halfway through a load, it wont start again and the door locked light does not come on although it is firmly locked. i have unplugged it from socket, tried resetting it but all it does is lights up with 3 red lights and doesnt respond to anything. it is a hotpoint wt540 1400 spin, it is only 2 year old. any help appreciated,. thanks

well, id be checking the motor brushes first!

other than that, the pcbs probably gone
