Hotpoint WT540 sticks in programme no reset

Hi all

Got a WT540 with a funky problem.

Machine will only work on one programmes mode. During cycle sticks at rinse and continues to rinse all the time. 4th light comes on (mini load and cannot cancel reset or switch off. Can only unplug and leave for 4 hours to reset only for problem to repeat.

Checked pump and nothing found.

Can make it work but LED’s go bananas. Then sticks in spin cycle. Completes but then immeadiately begins again.

Any help much appreaciated.

F01….OFF, OFF, OFF, Flash, OFF

is a motor triac fault

usually that means the boards gone

BUT

it could be a broken wire in the motor harness and/or board plug?

experience would suggest a pcb problem, to which u need a new smart card and reader, thats subject of course to whether it has a ceset motor or an fhp motor

confused? oh you will be… just look around the forums, its littered with many weary tales of unereliable indesit electronics

and if your going to look, make sure u unplug the machine for 5 minutes before you go in

Thanks for reply.

Stripped everything out and put it back together.
Everything fine now but on a fast spinn rinse hold begins to flash rapidly then goes off and back on again during spin. Finishes ok but i believe fault not fixed properley.

Any advice on this flashing fault
