    Evening,

    Have a customer phoned with a Hotpoint WT741 thermistor error. It looks like you can only get quite an expensive heater / therm together on this model (and could be the pcb) Anyone tried chopping the silly plug off and fitting a wma style thermistor; Are the thermistors the same values?

    Most likely its the module thats duff JJ

    Worth checking the connections on the module squeeze the plug gently with a pair of pliers and clean the contacts. I think it is unlikely to be the thermister.

    Yes you can fit the wma style thermistor done this a few times when found bad wire on the connector block 🙂

    heater not a bad price but if you want to wait till next week got to change a heater due to earth fault will send you the thermistor
