    Serail number is 701090217
    Can anyone help with identifying age of appliance?

    If that serial number were preceded by another 0 then it would be 2007.

    I think the bearings have gone. The drum is very noisy.
    Do you repair that type of failure?

    A major challenge for the DIYer and several local repair guys can sort it for you. But it depends on the state of the bearings and the damage they have done that determines its repair practicality.
