hotpoint wt761 wont turn off

Hi, originally went to this machine for no display. Fitted new board from EMW and cured fault. However, 3 days later called back as still faulty.
Machine has been ok for a few washes but now wont start programme and rinse light flashing continuously. Also wont turn off. Customer now says it did this before it went blank originally.
Emw have kindly retested the board but no fault found. Have tested everything but no fault found. Can only think now to change control panel pcb but this is out of desparation. Anyone any ideas ?????

that model does not use flashing lights to show erros, so sounds like the module must be at fault, are any of the buttons sticking?

Thats right, this one has digital display so cant understand rinse light flashing rapidly. Have had board out and all buttons seem to click ok but havent tested any better than that. No fault code reported at all.
