Participanthello all , this machine takes in water goes through the wash cycle and then stops before spin cycle , its still making noise though the lights flashing on display are wash enhance and the on/off , sounds like the pump is running , does this mean a blockage in the pump area or something more serious thanks

Could you double check that model number please, not recognised in the official parts or tech info.
Also best to post the left hand flashing light by number from top down. 😉

Not good news, fault is F08, heater relay fault, might be a loose connection but is almost certainly a fault on the main PCB.

If you use the forum search facillty and enter “Indesit AND eight AND flashes” in that exact format without the quotes you will get plenty of reading, most of it not very pleasant. 😥

hi again , i took the connector blocks off the main board and plugged them back in again , the machine started the cycle and went into spin ok , the machine was around 5 years old so i told the customer it was probably the main board 120 quid or so to buy a new one , so they said they would ring hotpoint and see if they could get the call out covered by warranty , sure enough the hotpoint van was outside the door next day , dunno what it cost but im sure it was at least 120 quid !!
