How do I replace fan oven element on Diplomat ADP4520

The fan oven element appears to have gone on my Diplomat ADP4520. I wanted to test the element before ordering a new one. I have removed the element/fan cover by undoing the 2 thumb wheels inside the back of the oven and can now clearly see the element.

How do you physically remove the element? Is it a push fit or is there a hidden fixing that can only be reached from behind? I have tried wriggling it free but didn’t want to use too much force for fear of damaging something.

Any help gratefully received and also a source for a spare element would be helpful as some internet suppliers are showing “no stock” or “stock shortage due to the manufacturer being in administration.

OK, I have taken the bull by the horns and pulled the oven out and removed the back. The element is held in place by 2 x 7mm nuts so its a good job I didn’t resort to brute force.

Any supplier recommendations for a replacement still gratefully received though.

It’s a unique element for that cooker which you can find HERE

It should be a stock item, I can’t access stock from home to see, as it is an item that we do carry as stock. However, what with the state of MFI parts these days, I can’t guarantee it 100{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d}.

If you order one you’ll find out soon enough though as Dave will likely update you over the weekend and if it changes to dispatched then it’s stock and would ship on Monday. 😉
