How do you change a watervalve (hot water filling valve)

Could any of you please let me know how i could go about in changing the watervalve on this washes dryer.

I am not a plumber and your help will be appreciated.

Disconnect the machine, pull it out so you can access the rear panel. The hot water valve is the part connected to the hot water hose. 😉

my washer dryer has a metal plate just behind the pipe fitting.

i’ve looked at the valve and it looks like i will need to take the metal plate off first and then replace it.

does that make sense, and is this the way to do it?
