Re: how do you deal with non payers?

I actually can’t believe i got stung by the same woman and her son TWICE!. It was only when i was in her house the second time it dawned on me about the first time and when i heard the ” I’ll drop it in to your house tomorrow” line. That was last November!

Her son then hounds me on the phone about his washing machine, i go to the house and i only realise he stung me before. So as i’m fixing the machine i had to listen to him moaning about how much things he has to pay out for and the expense of things in general even though him and his wife have jobs and a shiney new 50″ tv in the sitting room 😡 I get the line he’ll pay in a few days!

What bothered me was he says to me that his mother said ” He’s a lovely fella and you don’t have to pay him straight away” :eeek: If she goes around telling everyone that not a good thing :snig: …needless to say i won’t get caught the third time.

Generally i just don’t bother calling to them again after they have the cheek to call me again when something goes wrong.

I had one who was advised what the cost would be when i called back, only to be told no cash gave her my bank details was told it would be paid right away, needless to say weeks and phone calls text messages all blanked, her big mistake was using her husbands phone who was a well known coach in his field, who had moved back home to coach she was busy trying to sell the house, i have true caller and dialer on my phone so it gave me his name, a wee search on facebook brought up his facebook page a private message to him and hey presto paid the next day oh for the power of facebook.
