How hot should oven doors get?

Dear All,

What is the British or European standards on how hot the outside of an oven door can get to before it is deemed unsafe?

Assumtion that it’s a fan assisted, integrated, set at 200 Deg C for 30 mins.

(I have searched with the keywords “oven”, “door” and “temperature” and I couldn’t find anything.

BS standard is 200 oc for 1 hour to carry out temprature check correctly.

Thanks, all. My oven is within the limits, but, boy, that is hot. Yes I got what I paid for and will look to have cooled doors, check out the specs if they claim cooler doors, or even go for those without glass next time. Just goes to show, looks aren’t everything.
