    How much should I expect to pay for a CORGI engineer to remove an existing integrated gas hob and replace with a new one? It is a standard four ring hob.

    I have just paid £70 to have one put in, but he didn’t have to replace it just fit the new one.

    Thanks. I am wondering if there is much differnce in price as all the pipes and connectors are in place, its just a case of taking out the old and ensuring the new one is fitted correctly.

    Depends on the circumstances Philip and what needs done and hence price diferences. All too often you have to change the pipework routing when replacing and sometimes the connectors as well. In all honesty taking it back to good pipe or the shut-off is good practice anyways as it almost guarantees good soundness.
