AEG Arctis G91850-4i tall upright integrated freezer.
Having problems with the freezer – not getting down to -18c and maintaining temperature (sitting around -12c and suspect the evaporator fan motor is not operating). I tried to get to the fan motor but came unstuck – not confident of how to lower and support the evaporator coil to access the fan motor. It’s situated inside the freezer at the top. There is the copper pipe from the compressor on the RHS and an electrical box & cable on the LHS (the feed for the motor). I am concerned that edging the evaporator coil forward the weight of it will damage the pipework and/or electrics. Also how do I support the assembly securely to remove and replace the fan and motor? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
