    My SMEG P705 hob has stopped generating ignition sparks. I am assuming it will be a faulty generator module but have no idea how to get to it, anyone help?

    to get at the spark generator the hob has to be disconnected from the gas supply and removed from the work surface.

    As you can imagine, since this job will require gas pipes to be worked on it should only be attempted by a qualified gas safe engineer

    have you checked the plug?
