How to open fully new Bosch hinges for NEFF B1320N2GB / 05

Hi

I’ve just bought a couple of new hinges for a NEFF B1320N2GB / 05. I’ve removed the door,opened it and removed the old hinges.

Having read the instructions on this site it seems that I have to lock the hinges in the ‘oven door open’ position before putting the door back together and fitting it back into the oven.

MY QUESTION IS: I push down on the hinge to tension it but then it just springs back to the closed position again. How do I lock it into the ‘oven door open position’ so that it stays like that ready for insertion into the runners?
