How to remove Whirlpool drum lifter paddle?

Hi, we have a Whirlpool 12NC 8592 969 150007 or AW0D 6727 washing machine, recently we had an engineer replace a drum lifter paddle and he said if it happened again we could do it ourselves. We can hear and feel that another one is loose and have purchased a spare but we can’t remove the one that needs to be replaced. The last one came off mid cycle and I’d prefer to avoid that happening and replace it before it gets to that point.
