I have read all posts relating to this and all seem to be vague in what to remove to replace the heating element. I have got a new element but it seems that one of the wires from old element is just loose. (got new one just incase!). my question is what exactly do i need to remove as i cant remove bottom as welded on!, and inaccessible from all other sides. dont want to do what previous poster did and end up needing to realign drum etc.

candy cic60 reverse action condenser dryer 6kg.

p.s. yes i did check the thermal fuse and no it wasnt that.Thanks.

your supposed to go in from the front, remove everything, fit heater and rebuild….

    D O N T D O I T ! ! !

its one hell off a job

ive took to cutting the wires, and joining up with good quality, insulated heat resistant connectors, that can handle 13 amps

hope this helps, just be sure its unplugged, it’ll be live at all time, regardless of wether machines running or not!!!!

    thanks for reply.
wish i could just cut wires but the connector has came loose inside machine so it may not even need new element and just reconnect old one. i think i may call in a favour from the dad cause i dont think i have enough patience to do it if i have to take it ALL apart.
    thanks.
