how to reprogram hotpoint wma 10 control board

can some one advise how to reprogram a wma 10 control board as ive lost the instructions to reprogram it and hotpoint wont send me another sheet due to having the board for 8 months in my spares cupboard.

also ive got a hotpoint wma 9 washer it fills and turns acouple of times then releases the interlock and flashes door is unlocked any idea i think its a board proble

With selector in off position press and hold rinse hold and energy save buttons whilst selecting k program and continue to hold until lights flash (5 secs) , now press start button til all lights go out . now select M press start , P press start , A press start twice , job done

Hi Andysam,

if you send me your e-mail I’ll send you a copy config sheet.

on your WMA9 try checking the wiring close to the plug on the motor the wires sometimes break at the plug but the sleeve stays intact.

The fault on your WMA9 is a very common PCB fault.
