How to reset indesit di 62 after fault code.

Fault code came on due to blocked outlet, can anyone tell me how to reset it now the drain is clear.

To be honest I am not sure the reset procedure for your specific model of dishwasher. However (i.e. on some models), usually if the ‘Eco’ and ‘Soak’ lights on the panel are flashing, then simply turn off your machine, then turn back on again and set the programme again and all should be well…hopefully 🙂

Thanks for the reply, I had tried that with no joy. But having read your post I left it off at the spur for 5 minutes and then back on and that worked. So it seems a quick off then back on using the switch on the door isn’t good enough.

Ah! that’s partly my fault in not fully explaining correctly 😳

According to the Indesit User Guide with this type of appliance, it suggests when the error shows, to then switch off the machine first, then clean the filters before switching back on and resetting your programme again. The idea being that doing so would take over 20 seconds to complete, thus allowing that time for the micro processor to cancel itself 🙂

What Indesit should actually say in their booklet is “allow over 20secs to elapse before turning machine back on!” 😆 😆
