My daughter, who is a student, has just moved into a new shared house. They have somehow (they don’t know how) managed to turn on their oven’s safety lock and can’t disable it. :rolls: Apparently when they try to turn it on to heat up, a message “Safety” appears. It is an Electrolux. I have asked her to get the model number (where?!) and meanwhile is there a well-known way that all Electrolux ovens can have this turned off? They have gone out to the chippy.
Thank you.
Model number is on the front frame inside the door. Get the PNC 9 digit number if you can. Sounds like the oven has a child safety lock on. It is normally switched on by pushing a combination of buttons. 🙂
Thanks Flyman. I will tell my daughter where to look. Then if you or anyone knows the correct combination do both activate and disable the child safety, that would be help! Or I suppose with the model info, Electrolux might help? Of course, they couldn’t remember what buttons they had pressed…
