he was clearly back from the pub when he left that message.

ive never had a customer use that language with that level of intent when making a booking.

could always go down the prem electrics route of free call out, £60 diagnosis, and extortionately immoral spares list/prices. £30 for a belt. nicked off a scrappy wf… 😀

Thankfully it’s rare where i live to come across this type of person so wasn’t kinda prepared for it. In the 20 years i have been doing this i have never come across like an individual like him.

Was talking to an Electrician friend. He has heard of him and he has been warned to stay clear from people who know him..

I had one of those guys recently, expert of everything, knows it all.

Noisy washer, 7 days old.He points to the rear panel which has a hole showing the pulley nut sticking out.

He asked if I wanted the instructions, to which I replied “why is there something in there you don’t understand” 😆

His mistake was when he removed the transit brackets, he’d taken the rear panel off, only when he put it back on it was the wrong way around, which meant the recess for the nut was touching, they carried on using until the nut had worn through the panel.

There complaint was of noise on spin, no sh8 Sherlock. :rolls:

Idiots like him are 10 a penny here!! I would be tempted to tell him that there is no call out charge but there is a labour charge! Tell him your agreed rate (mine is £25 for normal nice ppl for a straight forward repair to freestanding appliances if local or £35 for tossers local or not). If he gets quirky with that – then reccomend the nearest rip off if you have one. When he calls you back to say ok, can you do it then? say yes, but it’s going to be next week now as I have taken 15 calls since our last conversation and im booked solid. Failing that just tell him your not interested as you dont make preferences to any customers and suggest he uses someone else! Complete di*k heads some ppl!!
