The detergent dispenser door in my HJA 8630 will not stay closed when the power is on.
It does not matter if the door is open or a wash cycle has been run the door will not stay closed .the only way to get the door to closed is to swith the power off from the 13 amp socket outlet or the on/off switch in the door

Probably just a faulty dispenser but, you’d need to check that it’s not getting powered inadvertently by the control module which, given the description, does sound feasible.

It should stay closed until the solenoid in it is powered up, at which point it pops open.

They are known to go occasionally but I’ve not heard of one do that before so, you’d need to check where the actual issue lies.
