howden HJA8640 dishwasher

hi,
i went to the above dishwasher today,
when you select a program and close the door there is a slight hum then 4 or 5 audible clicks then nothing.
there is no water in the base no blockage in the pump.
any ideas welcome,

you pressing the start button? or canceled the existing program? These things start up at point of failure even after being unplugged for weeks.
should bring the drain pump on first.

hi,
i cancelled the existing program and triedit on different programs, it does exactly the same on evey program
a slight humming noise for a couple of secondsthe4 or 5 clicks then nothing, i also checked it was getting water.

sorry to bring this one up again i went back today and definately cancelled the program, but when i restarted it it did exactly the same, i would normally give up but the customer is very keen to get it fixed, any help would be gratefully received.

This is a Beko machine – can or have you tried function tests. If you need more info on this let me have your email

i poured a basin of water into it and for some reason it is now working ok.
