ParticipantHi
Does anyone know the Bosch part number that is equivalent to Hotpoint prt number 1801201 as Hotpoint are charging silly money on these.
eg Hpt 1801684 £42.77 trade. equivalent Bosch Prt 490467 £26.21 trade a difference of £16.56 for the same dispenser 😥Thanks Turbo

If it’s the sliding door type it should be either 263088 “WITH STEAM VENT BEHIND DISPENSER DOOR” or 265837 “NO STEAM VENT BEHIND DISPENSER DOOR”
Pardon the CAPS, copying and pasting 😉
Dave.

Hi Dave
The dispenser I am after has the sliding door with steam vent so must be 263088 this is £12.41 cheaper than the over priced Hotpoint part.
Thank for your quick reply

Open an account with BSH Appliance Care Ltd and you can buy it at that price or fractionally cheaper in fact 😉

Hi rocker
The £26.21 price was from Connect Distrution Ltd. Was going to use them to avoid paying the carriage charge.

while we are on this subject, how do you all fit these things? I have had some nasty ones over the years that just wont sit in nicely and there is only so much pressure you can put on those stainless inner doors.

With the newer bosch/neff, I tend to after removal of old dispenser, bend the stainless flanges in slightly, and lightly lubricate the rubber seal of new dispenser.
Offer it into aperture, one hand on top one underneath of dispenser. With firm pushes it should locate and lock in.Greg

Forgot about this – why does anyone want a whole dispenser? You can get the sliding flap, the flap spring and the actuator all as spares – I’ve never needed anything else.

Thanks Greg, thats generaly the way I do it but as with most things they dont always go in that easily….as for Chris messing about with the flap and spring…no thanks, gave that up years ago.
