Got called to look at this one with light on and no action.
Found usual missing door switch prodder* but also five or so holes around the front loading port which looked as though they ought to have screws in but looked as though they had never had such. They’re the ones that should go into the plastic front trunking thing around the door. Anyone know exactly or even approximately what type, thickness and length of screws I’ll need to take with me when I go back? Thanks.
    Mike.

Sounds like someones had a go, taken the screws out and left you the problem then – blimey! :rolls:

I bet they’re in a jam jar on the windowsill?

IIRC they are just straighforward short pozidrive self-tappers that hold the front ducting in place. 😉

    Thanks for fast reply.
Yeah that makes more sense, really. I was thinking it was just that they had never been there in the first place. I’ll take a selection with me.

Yeah, you were spot on, Martin. Found still more screws missing when I looked further and the whole cabinet was totally distorted. Funny thing is the drum wasn’t rubbing on the back panel!
Anyway, it’s all back shipshape now complete with new p o k e r, er I mean “microswitch piece.”
